HAIR-This year all dancers will have their hair as pictured below.


-Part your child's hair IN THE MIDDLE 

-Please use water to wet the child's hair, and product to make it stay put.

-Hair should be secured into a low ponytail.


Some tips:

Make sure you wet the hair to slick it back. 

Use lots of hairspray or other product to be sure it is not going to have any fly aways. 

Use bobby pins to secure sides or any shorter pieces.

You may even want to use more than one elastic band to be sure it is going to stay in tightly. (Thicker hairbands are suggested.)

MAKEUP-Pictured here are the eyes


-Smokey eyes (Colors used are Light Silver and Dark Silver-should not look all black.)

-Black eyeliner on the BOTTOM only

-Black mascara

-Berry Blush

-Mauve/Plum lipstick 

*A recommended shade is Covergirl Outlast Moonlit Mauve #740

-Lexi Berry Lipsense Lipstick for competitive dancers

FINAL NEWSLETTER 

TUITION - Full tuition is due for the months of May and June and should reach the studio by the 1st of each month. 

SUMMER SESSION - Our summer session will begin Monday, June 26th and run straight through for 8 weeks. If you haven’t already signed up, it’s not too late! Summer is a great time to try a new subject. Go to our website www.extremedancecenter.com and submit your registration form to hold your spot. NO REGISTRATION FEE IS DUE FOR THE SUMMER. Tuition can be paid in two parts. The first half on July 1st. and the 2nd half due by August. 1st. 

FINAL DAY OF CLASS - Your last regular scheduled lessons are the WEEK OF June 12th. 

FUNDRAISING - Our last ticket sale will be in May and will cover your T-shirt cost, video download, and many other recital related expenses. All stubs and cash should be turned in no later than MONDAY, MAY 25rd. Thanks again for your continued support. 

LINE UPS - The line up for each show will be posted on the bulletin board mid may. Please make sure you look at it so you know which show your child will be performing in. Dance Troupes will perform in both shows. 

PROGRAM ADS - All ads and money should be turned in by May 1st. 

FULL RUN THROUGH AT OUR STUDIO - Sunday June 11th. NO COSTUMES. If you are in the matinee show, your rehearsal time is 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. If you are in the evening show, your rehearsal time is 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. If you are a dressing room mom for the matinee show, please plan to stay at the studio for rehearsal during the matinee rehearsal time. Same for evening please. Please plan to drop off your child or car pool as parking will be challenging. Your child may leave after his/her last number is rehearsed. 

DRESSING ROOM MOMS - We are in need of some moms to stay in the dressing rooms with the kids while the shows are going on. You will be responsible for helping all kids (not just your own), bringing coloring books for the little ones, or anything that will be helpful to keep them sitting and occupied is a great idea. Dry snacks and water only so no costumes get stained! All students must remain in the dressing rooms while the recital is going on!!!!! Sign up sheet is on the desk for any interested volunteers. 

DRESS REHEARSALS - Friday June 16th. AT LATROBE HIGH SCHOOL. FULL COSTUME, HAIR, AND MAKE UP (please refer to our website to see how your hair and makeup should look) Arrival times for the matinee show are 11:30 a.m. for the Dance Troupe, and 12:00 p.m. for the recreational students. You should drop your child off in his/her designated dressing room. Please make sure you sign your child in and sign them out when you pick them up. Parents are NOT permitted to sit in the auditorium during dress rehearsal. Dismissal time is 3:45p.m. Your Child will remain in the dressing room until the person that signed them in signs them out. Arrival times for the evening show are 5:30 p.m. for the Dance Troupe, and 6:00 p.m. for recreational students. Dismissal time will be 9:45 p.m. 

SHOW TIMES - Matinee 1:00 and Evening 7:00 - Students and dressing room moms should follow the same arrival times as dress rehearsal. You will sign you child in and out as done at dress rehearsal. 

RECITAL T-SHIRT - Please make sure your recital t-shirt is with you for the recital, as you will be wearing it to come back on stage for the finale. 

TICKET SALES - Tickets will go on sale June 1st. You will purchase your tickets at the studio, and this can be done when you bring your child to class. All tickets are general admission. Cost: $17 per ticket. Tickets will stay on sale until June 14th. If we have any remaining tickets, we will sell them at the door .
